Pieces Of Eight Barbershop Quartet from Seattle, WA

What a great, fun group. We hired them for an anniversary party for our parents and couldn't have been happier. They sang well, and gave a performance that brought a tear to my Dad's eye. The combo of fun songs and a couple more 'serious' ones was well done. The younger crowd who hadn't heard a barbershop quartet before were fascinated. And the older folks enjoyed a bit of nostalgia in hearing old favorites. I also appreciated their flexibility - we had a couple time changes and they were very accomodating. They looked great in their tuxes, engaged the crowd and just really made a special occasion a memorable one.

Given our difficulty dancing, we opted for good listnin' music: something joyful, happy, snappy and fun and decided on barbershop. We liked the "Pieces of Eight" sound bytes we heard on the internet, and booked them as a result, but had no clue about their "persona." We had no reason to worry! This foursome not only demonstrated melodic talent, but gave us a mixed bag of the joyful, sentimental, historical, humorous and, of course, romantic for our Golden Wedding Anniversary. They were definitely a crowd pleaser and we've received many positive comments about them. Simply put, they were sensational!
