RECENT CUSTOMER FEEDBACK:
I just finished saying a set of prayers of thanksgiving for what an exceptionally fun party it turned out to be today. Mom and Mary Jo DANCING THE POLKA to live accordion music? Dad singing happy birthday TO HIMSELF and chuckling through the song? As I said to some of you before you left, this was the first gathering in years where both Mom and Dad seemed relaxed enough to simply enjoy everyone's company, and so the rest of us could relax and enjoy it, too. I don't think I've seen Mom and Dad so happy together since their 50th Anniversary party more than 14 years ago.
Thank you to everyone who made this day possible and so enjoyable. Thanks to Stan and Mary for doing the transportation tag team. Thanks to Renee for organizing the live polka serenade with Linda, and I'm so glad she hung out for a while for some beer and pizza. Thanks to Jon for pedaling all the way from Culver City, for coming early to help me get everything ready, and for cooking Grandpa's Gorgonzola Gnocchi. And thanks to everybody for helping Dad and Mom achieve a level of stability and equanimity that has allowed them to enjoy their days.
