Soft Touch has been Central Florida's top ballroom dance group since their inception in 1987. Keyboards, sax, clarinet, flute, drums and vocals make up the nucleus of this very talented and versatile trio. A very fine guitarist-vocalist augments the band for special occasions and some backing tracks are used to embellish their solid dance beat. They have a big following with the "over 50 crowd."
The band, with a repertoire of over 150 tunes, is a delight for those who like to dance to a variety of rhythms.
Fox trots, waltzes, polkas, latin and big band swing get the evening off to a good start. Add Top 40 oldies, the 50's and 60's, plus a touch of country, and you have a few movers and shakers on the dance floor!!! The musicians can shift into a higher gear to loosen things up with some classic rock n' roll. Their wide musical spectrum also includes a fair share of line dances.
If you prefer a Spanish flavor, cha cha, rhumba, bolero, tango and samba are a part of the band's extensive Latin library. The guys can
spice it up a bit by including the bachata, merengue and salsa.
The Soft Touch band provides music and entertainment for many private clubs, parties, wedding receptions, festivals and music organizations. Flexibility is one of the band's biggest assets since they have been able to adapt to the ever-changing times. They have
the distinction of performing for many of the same clientele for over 20 years.

I heartily recommend this band as a crowd pleaser. They know a vast array of songs that satisfy a wide range of musical tastes. We had an audience whose age ranged from 40 to 96 and everyone was pleased. And that is not an easy thing to accomplish with 165 people! Tangos, cha chas, salsa, meringues. waltzes, polkas to rock and roll....Soft Touch can do it all and well. I would definitely hire them again. They kept the dance floor busy for every song!
