My name is Ian Goodtimes and I am the Toronto Bagpiper. I've played weddings, parties, and special events across Canada and all over the world including performing for a year at Tokyo Disneyland and shows at The Edinburgh Festival. My pipes have taken me to Dubai, Cyprus, and all throughout Europe. I most recently can be seen in the Bud light cheer campaign. I've piped for the Governor General, the Prime Minister and was, for several years, the Official Bagpiper for The Toronto Blue Jays. I come complete with traditional kilt outfit, and offer a range of moods from stern solemnity to total hilarity. Bagpipes are best suited in a ceremonial capacity, for example piping in a guest of honour, bride, cake, haggis. Or playing happy birthday. They also work quite well outside venues before the event to let guests know where the event is. My repertoire consists of traditional Scottish Pipe music however I am quite capable of playing any song you'd like (with some notice).
