The Travelling Piper Bagpiper from Monticello, GA

My name is Brigadier General(retired) Rich McPhee and I am a retired Army officer. I began learning the bagpipes at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1974 and following retirement, I have been playing full time. I bring the same professionalism that I learned in 33 years of military service to your event. I learned early that the pipes bring a sense of dignity to any event and over the last eight years have played for numerous gatherings throughout North Georgia ranging from weddings to funerals, parties, graduations and official public ceremonies. Most recently, I played in support of Capella University for over 1000 students and six separate graduation ceremonies. I have supported Mayor Kasim Reed in the Atlanta City Hall playing for the Irish Emerald Society and the Consulate General of Ireland as well as the city of Woodstock, GA at their annual Memorial Day remembrance. I have also played at the opening ceremonies for the PGA Championship in Atlanta. I am the business manager for an Atlanta Pipes and Drums Band and a competition piper with that group. I always say the last thing a client should ever have to worry about is their Piper. I guarantee that you will never have to worry about me being on time and well prepared.
