Amazing! He was very prompted with communicating with us about the wedding throughout the year, clothing was very authentic, extremely friendly, and most importantly the music completed the ceremony! It was a magical moment to walk with my dad up the aisle to bagpipes and return down the aisle a married couple to the sounds of pipes!! I would recommend John for any event!!! Thank you so much John for everything! The York's!

John provided music for our church function the morning after playing at numerous St. Patrick's Day Celebrations and I'm sure had the right to be exhausted, but instead provided an excellent performance even taking requests. I believe the word awesome was used by several of our members when describing what they thought of his music. It was definately something different & refreshing for our church. We would be happy to have John back again!

t Thank you we were very impressed with his talent as a musician. He is a very nice man and came on time. We liked the way he was dressed and played. Everyone enjoyed his bagpipe playing. It was a special touch to add to our daughter's wedding ceremony.

John showed up early for my Father's funeral and stayed late. EVERYONE complimented our family on his performance! I will treasure the memory of him playing outside the enterance of the Church for the rest of my life. I have tears in my eyes, typing this response. We were truly Blessed to have John in attendance during my family's time of need. I know in my heart that my Father was happy too.

John was great. He was a really good sport about my non-traditional event and it was wonderful to have him there. He even ended up playing along with the Master Arabian percussionist. Everyone loved it, and I can't wait until I need another piper for my next event because it was just so good. I highly recommend him.

While we rated Mr. Bottomley all the highest scores, some of the questions did not apply. Our family used Mr. Bottomley for the burial of our sister. I do remember it was extremely cold and the wind was blowing and hearing the bagpipes in the distance was beautiful and a nice send off for her final goodbye.

John Bottomly performed excellently. He really brought our ceremony together. My favorite part about my dealings with John was that he was very flexible and he seemed to have no problem dealing with two young, inexperienced, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants-types that were very difficult to get in touch with, particularly in the final days before the wedding. We also only picked 2 of the 3 songs we wanted him to play, because our knowledge of bagpiping music is fairly limited, but his recommendation on the third was perfect. Thanks John!

John Bottomley is a true artist on the pipes. He is a very talented piper. Hire Mr. Bottomley and you will not be disappointed. I've hired pipers since 1995. He's the best I've hired!

We were impressed with John's professionalism: prompt response to emails, phone calls; ability/talent on the bagpipes, and interest in making our event a success (which he surely did.) We were impressed with the fact that he drove all the way the day before the event to make sure of his cues, place, etc. The people loved his playing and his presence added a special touch to our Christmas play. He was a gentleman and as helpful as he could be. In hindsight, we only regret that we did not think to have him talk to the students about the pipes. In the busy-ness of rehearsals, we missed that opportunity.. We'd recommend John Bottomley as a five star performer!
