The GoldTones A Cappella Group from Parsippany, NJ

The GoldTones are New York and New Jersey's premier doo-wop acappella group. The GoldTones are a 5-man group, based in northern and central New Jersey. The group sings doo-wop favorites from the 50's and 60's, in 'street corner style'! Shows include many of the great NYC area doo-wop hits, many of which were national hits as well. People who grew up in the doo-wop era can easily recognize most of these great songs. Whether you are a typical doo-wop listener or a serious fan and collector, you will probably enjoy a performance by The GoldTones. Even people who did not grow up in the 50's or early 60's often enjoy hearing the great melodies, romantic lyrics, powerful vocals, and smooth harmonies of The GoldTones. Their shows are geared toward the doo-wop audiences, but are appropriate for people of all ages! The GoldTones have 2 lead singers who take turns singing lead on different songs. Each lead singer brings a very unique sound to the group. ***Note: The GoldTones are an 'acappella doo-wop group', which means that the groups sings in harmony, without being backed up by any other kind of instrumentation.
