SANTA MAMBA is a Hot-Hot-Hot LATIN, Caribbean, Cuban band based in RI and Massachusetts but we can travel and perform in anywhere!! For over 10 years, Santa Mamba has entertained thousands with their danceable mix of Latin, Jazz & Caribbean music. Santa Mamba is a LIVE 6 piece band playing Tropical & Caribbean styles with a strong focus on LATIN music. THE BAND - Santa Mamba's lead vocalist (Gio Murillo) was born in Venezula and sings in 4 languages, English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. The band's Latin percussionist (Jaime Hernendez) was born in El Salvador and plays a variety of Latin percussion including congas, bongos and timbales. The band's Guitarist (John Mederios) has an endorsement with Parker Fly Guitars and is often compared to the Flamenco and Mariachi styles alla Gyspy Kings and Santana! Keyboardist, bassist and drummer are music college trained and seasoned performers. MATERIAL - The band's material is sung in Spanish & English. Most songs are upbeat tempos, fun & perfect for dancing, and some ballads are added for couples who wish to slow dance. The audio samples you hear on this site are a small section of their songs.
