What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Make sure your provider uses FDA approved paints with non-latex sponges.
Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
We are a high volume company. Most of our jobs are bigger events. We enjoy every size but our forte is larger, fast paced events. We are professional, precise and quick. Able to do many faces nonstop and perfect.. all with a smile and sometimes a hug! :-)
What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
How many children will be at the party? The time and date of the party and the party theme. Take into consideration the weather because face paint will run off when wet so if it is too hot or raining out the face paint will get ruined. In hot weather I suggest face painting for indoor parties only.
What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
How well do you interact with small children? Do you bring your own table and stool? What brand of paint do you use? Is your glitter, glue and rhinestones made specifically for body art? Does The the paint have anti-bacterial properties in it? Is the paint hypoallergenic? How many faces can you paint in an hour? Do you have a website with recent photos? Are you just face painters or artists that face paint too?
Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
8/25/13 - Heading to IKEA at 1:00 to do a store gig... I really enjoyed IKEA! That place is unbelievable and huge. It has an area specifically for children whom I painted yesterday. Very fun place!
8/24/13 - 3 birthday parties yesterday. One for 2 kids that turned 5 at Walter Fuller Park in St. Pete, then over to Ellenton to a Minnie Mouse theme party for a one year old, then back to Pinellas County to a club house in Tierre Verde for a 7 year old's Peekachoo party.
8/23/13 - Evening "Back to School BBQ" at The Founders Golf Club in Sarasota. Adults and kids of all ages like to get their faces painted there. The women like eye, flower, scroll art, the men like tribal tattoos, the kids like everything..lol.
Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
We are professional artists who happen to love face painting. What makes us unique is unlike most face painters who have learned specific designs and only know those, we can paint anything and draw whatever you want directly on your face. We have performed at most every festival you can think of in the state of Florida where we paint nonstop for entire days and nights. Because of this experience, coupled with our art as professionals, we are fast and we are good. Another quality we possess is the ability to make any child or adult feel at ease as we are too. We are happy and fun. We have painted every child, from every race of the rainbow and we love every one of them. White, black, latin, asian, middle eastern, english, canadian. Every single type of party you can imagine. We love our job and laugh and have fun doing it.
What do you like most about your job?
The best thing about face painting is making the person we paint feel happy and special. There is NOTHING more satisfying and wonderful than giving that person a mirror when we're done painting them and watching the expression on their face as they gaze at their amazing transformation. It's awesome and a great job and makes everything worth it for us just to have that one moment in time with that person.
