Believe it or not we are one week out from Memorial Day...which means it is S-U-M-M-E-R, summer! As you can probably tell we are just a little excited. In honor of Memorial Day and to help you get in the mood for summer (not that you need much help), we have crafted a summer playlist of great summer songs. Some are old, some are new but all go great with warm weather, beaches and barbecues.

Here they are - GigMasters' 2011 Summer Jams:

1. Summertime - DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince An obvious pick but this song still sounds as good today as it did back in 1991 when it first came out.

2. Summertime - Billie Holiday Little different than Will Smith's version, but the same idea.

3. Regulate - Warren G ft. Nate Dogg Nate Dogg is gone but this is still a great one. I dare you not to sing along.

4. Dog Days Are Over - Florence & The Machine The dogs days haven't even started but this is a catchy, summery type song so expect to hear it a whole lot.

5. After Party - Lonely Island ft. Santigold This might be the best song off of the new Lonely Island CD "Turtleneck & Chain." The boys from SNL make hilariously funny songs that actually hold up well musically.

6. Rolling in the Deep - Adele If you haven't yet heard Adele, you probably will soon. She has an amazing voice and this song is currently on top of the Billboard 100.

7. E.T. - Katy Perry ft. Kanye West Yep, these two are both still really popular. You will hear this one a lot this summer.

8. I Follow Rivers - Lykke Li Another catchy anthem - this one by newcomer Swedish singer Lykke Li.

9. The Edge - Lada Gaga Anyone see Gaga on SNL last weekend? I still haven't quite figured her out but I guess that is the point.

10. Born In The USA - Bruce Springsteen Let's not forget what Memorial Day is actually about. Not just an excuse for a long weekend,Memorial Day pays tribute to those brave men and women in the military who risk their lives for our freedom. This Buds for you!
