What do you do when two brothers, with two favorite football teams, share one bar mitzvah? The Levitt family came up with the perfect solution when they threw this sports bar themed Bar Mitzvah bash!
Held at an outdoor farmers market, the mock sports bar was justly named “A House Divided.” Thanks to David Basher at A Magic Moment for sending over awesome photos from the event. See how the family threw one awesome party, while still making both boys feel like the MVP!
Football jerseys and sports décor set the scene for this game time gig. Tables topped with referee-striped cloths held a variety of game time favorites, from pizza and pretzels to popcorn and hot dogs. Guests had to choose who they were rooting for when grabbing their party favors- water bottles sporting the teams' logos!
Most referees break up the excitement, but the refs at this party brought it! Break dancers dressed as game referees showed off their skills while a DJ kept the dance floor moving. Guests even had a chance to get themselves in the game by takings pictures in front of a stadium backdrop.
A wide range of treats were available to satisfy each guest's sweet tooth. The hosts provided a candy station, cupcakes, milk and cookies, and even an ice cream truck! But perhaps the most unique addition was the make-your-own candy apple bar, complete with all the toppings imaginable.
Even though the teams might be rivals, both guests of honor left this bash as winners. With awesome decorations and a stadium's worth of delicious treats, this bar-mitzvah was certainly worthy of a trophy!
