Who doesn't love a good fiesta? We sure do - that's why we can't wait for Cinco de Mayo! With good food, great company and some Latin tunes, it's the ideal opportunity to spice up spring. While Cinco de Mayo is celebrated on a specific date (May 5th, in case the name didn't give it away), it can also double as a fun theme that can be applied to any event! Even if you can't speak more than un poquito of Spanish, we promise you can host an awesome Cinco de Mayo celebration! Here are a few tips for pulling the perfect party together:

You can't have a fiesta without entertainment! Hire a mariachi band, like Mariachi Nuevo Sonido (above)

The easiest way to set the scene is with entertainment. For tunes true to the Mexican flavor, hire a mariachi band. They’ll bring the perfect ambiance to a larger party, like a picnic. For a smaller, more intimate event, a mariachi duo or trio can also make a great fit! If you want to get the party up and moving, think about booking a dancer. Consider this unique entertainment option for a Cinco de Mayo corporate function. Flamenco and salsa dancers will also make an authentic addition to your celebration. Most dancers are willing to teach guests a few steps, and some will even host a full lesson: just ask ahead of time!
