As voyeurs and witnesses to the rise and fall of both princes and lepers in Los Angeles Americana Jacks offers vicarious tales of lost love, recovery, spectacular failures and undeserved success. Americana Jacks offers up a stripped down sound of Nashville meets Austin with a little bit of LA to keep it interesting. Formed in 2013 when guitarist/songwriter Jonathan Sigal reunited with vocalist Bryce Hove after the two played together briefly in a local band called the ReFormed. "We both wanted to do something different from what was out there and from what we were already doing." says Jonathan Sigal, "Having Bryce's diverse background and adding the killer rhythm section of Ray Lopez (bass) and Adam Hove (drums) has really opened up the sonic possibilities."
Americana Jacks digs deep into the vast richness of blues, country, alternative and classic rock's greatest artists as well as offering up original material that is at once new yet familiar with a stripped down sound of Nashville meets Austin while having lunch in LA. In a typical upbeat set you'll hear Tom Petty, Robben Ford, Dwight Yoakum, Elvis Presley, John Fogerty, The Black Keys, Keith Urban, John Mellencamp, Alan Jackson, John Mayer and many others.
