About Vendor

Learn more about this vendor for your event.

Brad Lauretti (Singer/Songwriter) of the international touring group This Frontier Needs Heroes is most recently from Jacksonville, FL. Tour Highlights include Magnolia Festival, Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, Folk Alliance Music Conference, Athfest, Gram Parsons Guitar Pull, Connection Festival, One Spark, Jazz Fest After Dark, Blue Plate Special, Flagler Radio, First Coast Connect, Stetson Kennedy Literary Landmark Celebration, and Clean Water Music Festival. This Frontier Needs Heroes have spent the past 5 years playing shows all over the world. With either a full band or just with a guitar, and their voices, logging thousands of miles in their car, touring the greatest cities of North America and Europe, selling one record at a time, making one fan at a time. This determination and DIY ethos brought them on an epic journey around the world, playing in clubs, houses, and festival stages. After two successful albums under their belt in which they explored their stripped down alternative folk arrangements, This Frontier Needs Heroes decided to try something different. The name of the band, a reference to Woody Guthrie's famous WWII-era guitar graffiti “This Machine Kills Fascists” didn't just apply to its core members, but it's also an invitation for everyone to become a hero in their own right. "We're warning you now: You might fall in love with someone in the room during this band's set. So genuine, so commanding, so deceptively simple is TFNH's music that, before you know it, something inside you has shifted - suddenly your staring into someone else's eyes from across the bar." -Folio Weekly

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on July 18, 2016From Jacksonville, FL

These guys were fantastic! Engaged from the very beginning, able to respond to changes, dressed appropriately for the event and sounded just great. Great covers of John Prine, Old Crow Medicine Show, Neil Young as well as their originals. I recommend TFNH for any event that you want beautiful, quiet music in the background.
