Hunter and the Wick'd Americana Band from Joshua Tree, CA

Desert Country Rock. Based out of the Hi-Desert of Southern California, the Band, Hunter and the Wick'd plays a mix of contemporary and traditional folk/country/blues. The band is lead by singer/songwriter/guitarist Miri Hunter. Playing with an eclectic mix of performers who have backgrounds ranging from classical music to Punk Rock and everything in between, she has woven and inspired what Nashville is calling Desert Country Rock (DCR). With influences ranging from Glen Campbell to Tracy Chapman, and Elvis to Joni Mitchell, the band can provide a fun and musically vibrant entertainment experience. The band is available as a duo, trio or quartet. Each ensemble creates a unique, fun and entertaining musical experience. Miri will also perform as a solo acoustic act for more intimate venues.
