African Soul International is an innovative creative and artistic leader in developing solutions to educational and social issues within our community.
We were founded in 1998 by a collective of artists who wanted to use our talents, skills and gifts to help youth in the community. We have developed 3 primary branches of service, our professional performing ensemble, our community and educational outreach and our annual conference. As a professional ensemble, we have performed in Los Angeles with Ms. Debbie Allen and in The Gambia, West Africa, with Grammy Award winning artist Youssou N'dour of Senegal.
