Chimney Choir plays a versatile blend of world and acoustic music that adds a memorable and unique color to any celebration. The trio comfortably entertains at ceremonies, weddings and corporate events, tailoring their sound to suit the occasion. From ambient background to lively dance music, a cappella 3-part harmony to instrumental, they fluently play celtic, country, classical, bluegrass, gypsy jazz, classical, rock, blues, and folk music on piano, mandolin, guitar, banjo, drums/percussion and violin. Collectively, the accomplished young musicians have been making music professionally for 10 years. They have shared the stage with The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers, BB King, Paper Bird, and countless others. They tour extensively in the US and in Europe and have licensed their original music for film, composed for theater, and been featured on XM Sirius Radio. The trio has also collaborated with Denver Public Schools and Colorado Public TV, all the while performing in many different events from outdoor weddings in Boulder's Chautauqua to the opening of the First Bank Center in Broomfield. Locally, Chimney Choir was nominated as 'Best Americana Band' for 2011 in Westword Magazine and has been interviewed on CPR's Colorado Matters.
