Van Nixon Entertainer Singer from Minneapolis, MN

I am a vocalist which accompanies myself on an electric guitar with amp and drum machine or acoustic guitar with or without amplification. The genera's which I am engaged, include reggae acoustic funk, light soul, gospel, some blues and rock with a reggae influence. My vocal concept's included classical training,therefore, I am able to perform with classical choral groups. I have classic Operatic training, but prefer engaging in popular music with my guitar. Other instrumentation includes percussion congo 's, bongos, with a Latin feel, and other percussive instruments. The trombone is my brass instrument of choice, and I am learning to play with the Banjo. I have performed as a single solo, duo, up to a an 11 piece band! I prefer working with all different types of instrumentation. Making music is my ticket to serenity.
