Gary is available to perform at private events, weddings, public functions, office parties and any venue that will accommodate his equipment. Gary has all of the equipment he needs to perform his music, no additions required.
Ever since Gary was very young, music was a part of his world. From banging on the tables, pretending they were drums, to jamming out on his Sony Walkman, he knew that music would eventually become his passion and dream to fulfill. Gary's first musical instrument was the violin at the age of 9. It was during the next 5 years of his life that he learned all about performing, reading and interpreting music. After listening to countless bands and artists thanks to his two sisters' impressive music collections, Gary was handed an Esteban classical guitar by his Mom. She figured that he amassed such a love for music, that it was time to move on and play an instrument that is cherished and loved by many.
While studying guitar all throughout his teenage years, Gary quickly fell in love with the rock genre. From Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin to Nirvana and Chevelle, he knew what his calling was in life. The DVD that changed it all for Gary was the G3 Live in Tokyo film. After watching Joe Satriani play that guitar like he did and command the audience, he wanted to study music for the rest of his life. It was from there that Gary pursued a career in music and went on to study Jazz Guitar Performance at George Mason University's School of Music.
Whether it's hip hop and R&B or classical and acoustic rock, Gary's taste in music is widespread. Venturing into these different realms of music enabled him to learn bass guitar, piano, percussion and even DJing. He cites Pink Floyd, Daft Punk, Nirvana, BT, Joe Satriani, Mumford & Sons, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass and Third Eye Blind as his major influences. Gary is currently writing new music for an eventual EP release, teaching private guitar lessons and arranging music. With his trusty Martin D18 by his side, music and Gary always travel hand in hand with a simple goal in mind: to create wonderful music that the world can enjoy listening to.
