Spencer and Sequoia Acoustic Duo from Stamford, CT

An acoustic duo offering smooth, jazzy and upbeat tunes. They specialize in dynamic harmonies and adding a jazz, 'Sade-like' feel to their sound. Spencer grew up in Seattle, studying trumpet and voice until he moved to New York nearly 5 years ago. He met Sequoia in New York who ended up writing music for the band he was with at the time. Eventually, they realized they were an incomparable duo that had a way of adding a special ambiance to any event they played, so they formed a band. Of course they fell in love while doing this, so they got married and decided to settle in the tri-state area and have since played at the Hard Rock Cafe in Seattle, The Bitterend in NYC, The Norton Museum in West Palm FL, as well as proposals, weddings and the like all over the country. Their repertoire is broad and they are able to learn almost any song you would like. From 50's to today's top 40, they do it all.
