Something Clever is primarily an active rock and metal band from Charlotte, NC. The bands vocalist Adam Nelson and lead guitarist and founding member Kelly Flusk are now performing popular ACOUSTIC cover material on the side. Covering songs from the 90's to today's radio hits. Which is what will be performed if booked. Will travel 100 miles from Mooresville/Concord, NC. Some of Something Clever's background: Gaining the attention of several national acts in 2012 with their first EP release produced and engineered by Michael Pepe entitled 'Walk Away', Something Clever shared the stage with Adelita's Way, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Saving Abel, and Sum 41 and ended up #1 in all voting categories at the 2012 Ernie Ball and Rockstar Energy Drink Battle of the Bands for Simpsonville, SC. Something Clever was also commissioned to create music for Charlotte channel WSOC TV's high school football segment for television broadcast, running the last two football seasons straight. During production of their current projects, the band has managed to play with an addition of other contemporary metal/metalcore/hard rock acts such as Like Monroe, Scare Don't Fear, Eyes Set to Kill, I See Stars, Adelita's Way/Red Jumpsuit Apparatus for a second time, Dead Rabbitts, The Relapse Symphony, A Skylit Drive, Escape The Fate, All That Remains and others. The positive attention of these shows has skyrocketed the band to the number 1 spot on Reverb Nation for metal acts from Charlotte. The band's current EP release, 'Season of Darkness', is part of a double-EP endeavor, set for global distribution on March 17th, 2015. The second EP, 'Season of Light', is set for a late-2015, early 2016 launch. They are known for their diverse rock sound and very high energy live shows.
