Dory and the Beet is based in Austin Texas, and perfect for setting a classy tone to your event or venue. As a guitar and vocal duo, Dory and the Beet plays the songs that take you back, from artists such as The Indigo Girls, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and many more. Formed in 2015 when vocalist Colleen Morrison came into contact with guitarist Jeff Montesano, it soon became apparent that the two were coming from a similar musical place and shared a common vision of the sound they wanted to accomplish. They have played at business grand openings, happy hours, brunches and hotel lounges, and are well suited for settings such as corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, and intimate weddings. Both have over 20 years of experience as performing musicians along with degrees in music performance. They currently play gigs on a weekly basis in Austin and the surrounding areas.
