David Graybeard Band Acoustic Band from Ithaca, NY

The David Graybeard Band performs 100% original roots and blues music. In the Americana genre, we play electrified acoustic music in both large venues and smaller, intimate settings. Our songwriting is from the heart, and based on our own life experiences. Nothing about it (or us) is sugar-coated! Besides getting people up to dance and groove, we strive to reflect the complexity of people and situations we encounter in life. We hope that resonates with other folks who've also had their shares of ups and downs. The band consists of David Graybeard (vocals, cigar box guitar, acoustic rhythms, and bouzouki), Greg Ezra (drum kit, cajon), Gordo Holloway (electric lead guitar, blues harp) and Joe Hillebrandt (harmonies, electric and acoustic bass). We don't usually play covers, preferring our own music, but we can accommodate them beforehand, if you have special songs that you'd like to hear.
