Casting Shadows Acoustic Band from Seattle, WA

Greetings future clients, We are Casting Shadows, an acoustic pop-rock duo comprised of multi-instrumentalists and friends Locke Bell and Scott Sandefur. A little background on us: We've been playing music together since first meeting, and have formed a special musical connection that transfers to our audiences whether we are playing parties, weddings, or concerts. We started learning cover songs and busking around Seattle in 2011, and spent the next few years building a catalog and performing at friends parties to work on our live sound. Since 2012 we have been in several bands together playing guitar, bass, drums, and singing, which greatly enhanced our musical bond. We formed Casting Shadows to be the next step in our musical progress, not only to create some original material (which you can hear in our music section), but to also provide the soundtrack to as many parties and events we can. What can you expect from our performance: We bring a positive, focused, and fun attitude along with our solid musical performance that makes us perfect for groups of people, large or small, at a concert or a private event, as the main entertainment or background music. If your looking for a band to play classic hits, but don't have space or money for a big 5/6 person band, we can fit your needs. We also work great in small parties and gatherings to help create an intimate feel. As said before we do have original music, but we specialize in cover performances. We offer all clients not just a choice of songs we already know, but we also accept requests in advance for additional songs just for your event. There is no extra fee for learning your requests as we enjoy expanding our musical library. We also don't mind party-goers coming up for some karaoke with us if the mood calls for it (birthday boys and girls always get a great reaction doing this). We can provide our own vocal PA and amplification for all small events, such as house parties or spaces w/o sound equipment. Additional sound arrangements needed for larger spaces. As a duo our transportation costs are minimal and we can travel to your location easily. Being that we are both multi-instrumentalists, we can take on a variety of set ups to help cater closer to your needs. Our usual set up is Scott on guitar and Locke on vocals, but we can also give Locke a guitar and/or keyboard, and set Scott up behind a drum kit to give you a fuller band sound.
