All Time Most Popular Wedding Songs

Etta James's At Last is America's all time most popular and most requested wedding song according to a nationwide survey of wedding entertainers and DJ's.

The survey was conducted by online entertainment booking service Gigmasters.com, which polled its 2,500 entertainment clients for the survey which asked three questions:

1. What is the most requested First Dance song?
2. What is the most requested Father-Daughter Dance song?
3. What is the most requested Mother-Son Dance song?

At Last easily won the First Dance category taking 34 percent of the vote with Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling in Love coming in a distant second with 7 percent. Shania Twain's From this Moment was the third most requested song taking 3 percent of the vote

The race in the Father-Daughter Dance category was much tighter for first and second places. Bob Carlisle's Butterfly Kisses, with 28 percent of the vote, just edged out Kippi Brannon's Daddy's Little Girl, which took 25 percent. There was a tie for third with the Nat King Cole/Natalie Cole classic Unforgettable and The Temptations' My Girl, both collecting just 5 percent.

In the Mother-Son Dance category, Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World was a clear-cut winner landing 15 percent of the vote while Boyz II Men's Song for Mama scored second with 9 percent. Kenny Rogers's Through the Years tied for third place with Bette Middler's Wind Beneath My Wings, each securing 8 percent of the vote.
