I posted Miss Voskuill asking for driving directions the week before. She responded with a breezy, "Great!" but forgot to include the driving directions. I used Google Maps to arrive at the ceremony on time, but I had to call her to find out where in the giant Blue Harbor Resort the ceremony was to be. When I arrived, I had plenty of time to set up because the wedding party was behind schedule. It was very difficult to hear on the beach with the sound of the wind and the waves. I did my best to create a version of "Marry Me" by the rock group Train that would sound good on a solo violin, and also fit into the 30 seconds or so that it takes to perform a sandReview by Bob C.

The Faith Temple hired to play the violin, not the electric guitar. The day before, they asked me to bring the guitar also, as an option. On arrival early, they asked me to only play guitar, with violin as an option. They had agreed on a sound check but this did not happen because the musicians of the choir all came in late. I did not expect the decibel level would be high, and I couldn't make the guitar amp balance without help from the church sound system. I was not assisted by the staff to use "line in" to the church system. I feel that this problem was the fault of the church for not living up to their agreements about preparation and sound reinforcementReview by Andrea C.
