Wedding CeremonyReviewed on April 5, 2012From Kaukauna, WI

Benjamin was absolutely fabulous. As a fellow musician, I appreciated his professionalism and talent. I would highly recommend him for any event. My guests LOVED the music and he was extremely easy to work with. Gig Masters was also very easy to work with. What a great service!! Kurt

Ben was great to work with. He's a true professional and even adapted some music we requested to the violin. He played She by Elvis Costello and I Do I Do I Do by Abba for our processional and recessional requests. We had a lovely garden wedding and Ben's violin music fit in perfectly!

Ben S. our violinist for our wedding ceremony was very professional, organized, constantly in communication (which is great being an overwhelmed bride), also he was VERY reasonably priced. Overall he did a great job at our wedding! Everyone complimented on how wonderful he sounded in sync with our organist. If you need a violinist, I would highly recommend him!!!

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on June 24, 2012From Sheboygan, WI

HORRIBLE!!! We hired him due to his background, etc. He called my cell phone 15 minutes before I had to walk down the aisle stating he was lost. He sounded like a 2nd grader just learning to play the violin. The song we requested he play during the pouring of the sand was unrecognizeable. After the ceremony, he approached us stating he didn't know where to go to play at our reception. At the reception, people were laughing at how horrible he sounded during the ceremony and at the reception. We ended up asking him to leave. He ruined our wedding music and the song we looked so forward to hearing during the ceremony. A complete embarrassment!!!!

I posted Miss Voskuill asking for driving directions the week before. She responded with a breezy, "Great!" but forgot to include the driving directions. I used Google Maps to arrive at the ceremony on time, but I had to call her to find out where in the giant Blue Harbor Resort the ceremony was to be. When I arrived, I had plenty of time to set up because the wedding party was behind schedule. It was very difficult to hear on the beach with the sound of the wind and the waves. I did my best to create a version of "Marry Me" by the rock group Train that would sound good on a solo violin, and also fit into the 30 seconds or so that it takes to perform a sand

Thanks, Mr. Chamberlain, for giving me some good marks! It was a great honor to be able to serve your family life cycle event through my music playing. Congratulations!

Church ServiceReviewed on September 9, 2013From Milwaukee, WI

I had a terrible experience hiring this artist. He told me he would able to accommodate our service and not only could he not, I had to tell him we couldnt hear his music at all. I paid $140.00 for 1.5 hours and I am not at all happy with the hire.

The Faith Temple hired to play the violin, not the electric guitar. The day before, they asked me to bring the guitar also, as an option. On arrival early, they asked me to only play guitar, with violin as an option. They had agreed on a sound check but this did not happen because the musicians of the choir all came in late. I did not expect the decibel level would be high, and I couldn't make the guitar amp balance without help from the church sound system. I was not assisted by the staff to use "line in" to the church system. I feel that this problem was the fault of the church for not living up to their agreements about preparation and sound reinforcement
