Brittany Hensley Violinist from Denver, CO

Brittany is a violinist in Denver, Colorado who enjoys performing and teaching. She has been playing violin since the age of six and holds a Bachelor of Music degree and Master of Music degree in Violin Performance from the University of South Florida. She has studied with Carolyn Stuart, Monica Germino and Mark Rush. She has a diverse performing background including performances with Michael Buble, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the Ten Tenors, as well as University of South Florida faculty and students in the “Radiance” tour in 2012. Also in 2012, Brittany performed "Sonata" for unaccompanied violin by Brandon Kreuze in the College Music Society Regional Conference. She has performed with many chamber ensembles while at USF as well as at the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Burlington, Vermont. While participating in the festival, she performed in masterclasses with Timothy Eddy and Violaine Melancon. She co-founded the BrittZim Duo with Mary-Cathryn Zimmer (cello) in 2013 and frequently performs with the duo. In 2014, Brittany played on set and setting's album "A Vivid Memory" along with Mary-Cathryn Zimmer. She frequently performs for many engagements ranging from weddings, special events, as well as church functions.
