DESCRIPTION:
I am a violinist, violist, singer, arranger and composer. My preferred generes are classical, popular standards, jazz and Christian. I perform music for weddings and receptions as a soloist, with a pianist or with my string quartet. I also work with a jazz combo. I have done studio work as a violinist and singer. My claim to fame is that I can play a cocktail hour or reception without repeating a tune and can take practically any request.
The repertoire that I have available for my string quartet is extensive and covers many styles. If a piece is requested that is not readily available for string quartet, I can easily arrange it myself.
Consultations are free and with no obligation. If I feel that I can not help a client I don't have a problem referring to a competent colleague. My degrees and backgrounds are in Music Education, Violin Performance and Composition.
If necessary, I can play backup "fiddle" and can comp country. Yes.. I can "wail the tar" out of the Orange Blossom Special if need be... oh.. and I can play a little accordion too.
