Description
Violinist Daisy Jopling has toured the world, so you will be in for a rare treat! She is a fabulous classical player - her solo work has included playing a concerto in the Royal Albert Hall in London at the age of 14, and playing before 30,000 people at the opening of the Vienna Festival in May 2005.
Daisy also composes her own music - she has participated in writing the music for 2 Hollywood films, “Spanglish” and “The Road to El Dorado” - and specializes in Irish folk music and reggae.
If you are interested in Irish Folk music, Daisy performs either solo or with a trio: violin, Irish drum and guitar. If you specifically like reggae, Daisy performs with a great reggae artist, Trilogee.
Whatever your event, Daisy will add joy and exceptional music.
This is what the critics say:
"Daisy Jopling plays classical music with the energy and spontanaeity of a rock musician. She has a lyrical intensity that seems to reach inside you with each stroke of the bow."

Feedback
- Daisy was wonderful! I'd strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a violinist.
I was planning to propose to my girlfriend in Central Park, and at the last minute thought it would be nice to have a violinist there for the occasion. Daisy was very accomodating and sweet, showing up in a rowboat on the Lake in Central Park at the exact time and place, playing a wonderful rendition of "our song" for the big moment. She even rowed her own boat.
The music was beautiful. Thanks Daisy! -- Ryan H, New York, NY, 10/4/2008
- Daisy was exceptional, vivacious, passionate about her violin and the selections she choose for our party were perfect for the venue; on the water just past dusk. Her personality was enjoyed by all and she has been asked by other guests to perform.
Sincerely,
Janelle -- Janelle R, East Quogue, NY, 10/4/2008
