Jim Kerl's Swing Session Big Band has been entertaining audiences throughout the Pacific Northwest since 1995. The band's show "Sinatra at the Sands" featuring Joey Jewell and Trish Hatley has been a remarkable success, performing a tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra and the Count Basie Orchestra from their legendary 1966 appearance at the Las Vegas Sands Hotel. Swing Session is a group of extraordinary musicians who's experience includes working with the likes of Steve Allen, Ray Charles, Artie Shaw, The Harry James Band, Deana Martin, and many, many more. Our repertoire is extensive, from the hits of the Big Band era, to hard swinging jazz, to exceptional vocal arrangements. Swing Session is an 18 piece band that will make your event one to remember.
