DESCRIPTION:
Phat City is a four-piece party cover band based in Baltimore, Maryland. With lead female and male vocals, tight harmonies, and a steady dance beat, we can bring fun & vitality to your party or event. Playing a wide variety of music - from the 1950's to today - we have had people of all ages kicking up their heels. We are still fairly new to Gigmasters but have performed at events throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania for over twelve years. We pride ourselves on our crowd-pleasing tunes, energetic dance beats, enthusiastic performances, and our powerful ballads. We will work with you to tailor our set list to your requirements and to make your event a success. If you have special requests we can even learn a couple of new tunes specific to your event. During our breaks, we will keep the party going with recorded music, we are able to make any announcements and act as MC, and can provide cocktail or dinner hour music as needed. Each member of the band brings a unique background and set of talents to the group, creating a winning combination. We have performed at yacht clubs, galas, banquets, balls, weddings, reunions, clubs, private parties, bull roasts, crab feasts, fundraisers, luaus, Mardis Gras parties, Jimmy Buffett theme parties, 50's theme parties, and many other special events. CLIENT FEEDBACK:
WE have been to many dances with either and live band or DJ. Phat City by far overshadows anything we have had at a dance. They were very curtious, accomodating, and the music selection was outstanding.
We had 153 in attendance. I approached each table and asked them if the music was to loud. We asked to make an adjustment abit lower and they did. There were no complaints at all. The dance floor was filled for every selection they played. Their selection was great and they accepted requests. I cannot say enough good things about the Phat City band except, they were wonderful. We couldn't have been more pleased. Phat City was wonderful and played a variety of music, as well as worked on several songs that we had requested and were fantastic! They were not only very professional but very warm and friendly and willingly to accommodate all our musical needs and desires. All the guests commented on how "terrific" the band was and wanted to know who they were and where they were from. The night was memorable, of which, they contributed to immensely. If I ever need a band in the future, it will be "Phat City".

Phat City was a perfect choice for our wedding band. They were so organized and responsible--the band leader contacted me several days before the wedding just to make sure everything was straightened out so I'd have nothing to worry about. The music was great, including the cocktail hour music, which they also played. The guests really enjoyed dancing to Phat City's music. The band also did a terrific job MCing the wedding--they were fun and heartfelt without ever veering into cheesiness. In fact, one guest asked me if Christine (the lead singer) was a friend of mine--that's how warm and friendly their vibe was! Definitely consider hiring this band! We loved them!
