DESCRIPTION:
We are a group of ex-show (Atlantic City / Las Vegas) performers who have worked professionally for an average of over twenty years each before coming off of the road to marry and have families. The musicians are from Reading, Philly, Carlisle, Lancaster and Allentown and are the very best artists in the business. We book a great many corporate events, weddings, anniversaries and private parties for people who want something special, professional and more versatile than local groups provide. For maximum versatility, we can vary the size of the band to suit your venue and the number of people in attendance as well as your musical tastes (rock, latin, jazz, oldies, etc.) and the energy level that you are looking for. The band can vary from a trio to sextet and prices vary accordingly. With the trio you will get me (keyboards, saxophones and vocals), a female singer and a guitarist who sings. To that we will add a drummer, a latin percussionist or a trumpet/flugelhorn player (wonderful for people who like jazz, smooth jazz and the energy of a live horn section). The audio samples you will listen to are of the trio with female vocals and guitar. We take full advantage of the best of modern music technology to provide the sound of a full band in a small group. This way we can keep the prices down (you are not paying for extra musicians), keep the setup smaller (less room needed for the band) and control the volume easily. As we add more performers, we dispense with the electronics and what you hear is the unmatched quality of live, top-tier musicians at their musical best. Most bands have one or two kinds of music that they perform best and are comfortable with. Our tremendous combined experience allows us to play anything from jazz (perfect for the cocktail hour) to standards, rock and roll, oldies, country, island, disco, funk, strict-tempo ballroom and high-energy dance music and move from one style to another all evening long while keeping the overall sound and volume consistent and under control. We can play music that everyone can dance to and still keep the older folks happy with fresh versions of classic tunes from the 40's and 50's. We keep a copy of our Request List with us at all times and are happy to take requests from any of the guests so that we can play everyones favorites. The song list on this web site is a very small part of our repertoire, but I will be happy to email you a printable document containing our entire repertoire of over 600 tunes. I can also mail you a CD Demo of the band if you need one for folks who cannot listen to our audio samples on the web. There's quite a lot we can do to customize our music and presentation for your event, and I hope that I've given you some information to work with in this description, but I hope even more that we can discuss your particular needs in person! The overall experience with the band was amazing. They gave me a wide selection of music to pick from and performed each song to perfection. The crowd loved their background sinatra and Sade and danced/ sang along to their lively tunes such as Last Dance! It was my first time working with them and I was very impressed. I would recommend them for any event, from corporate to weddings, I'm sure they would be great!
