DESCRIPTION:
"FUNKELECTRIC" is a musical chameleon that takes a completely different approach to pleasing you with their musical performances!! Rather than forcing a client to accept standard musical selections/styles, we allow YOU to choose the repertoire we will perform at your event, and add the necessary session players to our core group as necessary. While we have a selection of literally hundreds of songs in all different styles/genres to choose from, we let YOU make those choices for us, as well as adding any selection you desire. FUNKELECTRIC is available in all formats, from duo/trio performances to a full-blown 8 piece horn-charged ensemble. This allows you control over the show we present as a band, literally creating your own live "music du jour". We accomplish this by using some of the most experienced, versatile, and professional session players on the Arizona live scene today. Our collective members have a wealth of experience in all different musical genres from Rock, Blues, Country, Jazz, Big Band, Hip Hop, and all points in between. They have played at corporate events, Weddings, cruise ships, festivals, studio sessions, honkytonks and saloons, and all the rock'in barrooms across this Country (and others) that you could ever imagine. Members have played showss with many big name acts as well; Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Wayne Newton, Sammy Davis Jr, Wayne Newton, Tom Jones, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, The Temptations, etc etc. We have members that are graduates from the Berklee College of music, the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences, and the School of Hard Knocks!! We are as comfortable playing a jazzy cocktail hour in tux n' tails as we are wearing Stetsons & boots, or leather & chains!! Or, we can do all three in one night (and then some), the choice is yours!! Want a jazzy Steely Dan set, or a night of horn-based R &B Dance Music? We can handle it easily!! We pride ourselves on putting on the type of show YOU want to see and hear!! We always come prepared & on-time, with our own crystalline-clear, top-notch sound and lighting gear in-hand. We are your one-stop shop for your Corporate event, Wedding, or Private party, and we are confident we will leave you satisfied & happy.
