Queenie and the Keys Variety Band from Sarasota, FL

Queenie and the Keys perform as a duo, trio or quartet. Regardless of the number of musicians they are a danceable and full sounding act, perfect for private parties and business events. At the core of the group is Ed Kinder on “keys” who programs the bass and drum parts for the group. This makes volume levels very manageable. The lead vocalist is Gwen (Queenie) Fogt. The optional musicians are electric guitar and/or saxaphone. The repertoire features “old school” R&B dance music from the songbooks of Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Sam & Dave, Wilson Picket and the like. Also included in the repertoire are easy listening jazz standards from the American Songbook for cocktail and dining hours.
