No taboo played at our wedding reception in Reno, nv, peppermill hotel. They sounded really good, had good variety among the instruments and the vocalist involved. They made the crowd dance and have a good time. Everyone was very pleased with their performance. The only thing I would do different if I did it again would be hiring an mc to have the flow exactly like I wanted it, it's hard to think of everything else when you need to concentrate on which song to play next and do it all well.
Oval, they were a great band, the price was good and they came all the way from Sacramento for our event and were ready on time.

We hired No Taboo to play at our wedding reception. From the moment they began to play, the dance floor was full and continued to be for the remainder of the night. They are a high-energy, extremely talented band who clearly enjoy performing. Having not actually seen them play live prior to hiring them, we were very happy with their performance. We highly recommend No Taboo for any event that involves dancing!

We booked No Taboo for our wedding reception at a house on Lake Tahoe. They were excellent! Very accommodating and responsive to my questions, they gave us a detailed song list and allowed us to tailor the performance to the style we were looking for. The dance floor was PACKED the whole night! Everyone from our friends in their twenties to my 93 yr old grandmother were cutting a rug together! We wanted good old school funk and motown and were looking to avoid the awkwardness of inappropriate hiphop songs being requested from a DJ. Spare yourself watching the older family members trying to dance to "SexyBack" and hire No Taboo to ROCK your event with classic style!
