Local duo that performs in the greater Phoenix area. Afro beat, jazz, pop, Latin, R&B vibes. With our duo you can get a DJ and live Music set combined in one performance and can fit any occasion or need! We play regularly at the newly open African and Carribean restaurant Latha in downtown Phoenix and Superstition Meadery. Other places we’ve played at include, downtown Phoenix and Scottsdale farmers markets, Greenwood Brewery, and Roosevelt welcome center. Rooted in their Phoenix upbringing, Israel and Keven used music to find connection to their sense of identity and forge a place in the community as artists. With a combined 30 years of musicianship, percussionist Israel Solomon and saxophonist Keven Peart have secured monthly residencies in the greater Phoenix area which include Peacock Wine Bar (Gilbert AZ), Giving Tree Cafe (Central Phx), and local Farmers Markets (Downtown Phx/Scottsdale). Contemporary and world sounds can be heard throughout their set.
