The hardest working band in our area, we pride ourselves on being professional and accommodating. Our lead guitar player, Josh Kirkland is an award winning musician he has been influenced by all of the great players. We have two lead singers and can cover a wide range of styles including: Rock, Blues, Soul, Country, Funk, Southern Rock and Reggae. TRB is a four piece band, collectively we have 71 years of professional stage experience. We are working three to four nights a week in bars, clubs and taverns and also private events such as corporate parties and weddings. You will not be disappointed if you hire the Traveling Riverside Band, we guarantee satisfaction through perfect sound and fulfilling every angle of our contract!

"Amazing time with the traveling riverside band!! We had them play at our rehearsal dinner at Village Creek Landing on St. Simons Island. They were awesome and all of our guests agreed! Working with them was a pleasure. They learned songs for us and honestly a lot of what they played sounded better with them playing than the CD/original track. Would highly, highly recommend them to anyone!!"

"TRB is AWESOME! We were looking for a band that could entertain our wedding party as well as get a little jammy/rock out and found Travelling Riverside Band. Chris invited us to one of their shows and after seeing them live, we were set. Leading up to the wedding they were very professional and accommodating to what we wanted. Then came the big day-THEY FAR EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS. TRB absolutely killed it and once they started playing, everyone started dancing and didn't stop until the party was over. Aunts, uncles, children, and grandparents were boogieing. Everyone I have spoken to after the wedding has complimented TRB. One of the best bands I've seen at a wedding"

Not only were they accommodating and helpful in providing the recorded music we needed for the ceremony, they were a super fun group! Even more important, though, they were very talented and versatile. My husband and I are huge classic rock fans, so we were excited to hear some of our favorites like "Curtis Lowe" and "Soul Shine". Our guests, not all of whom have the same taste in music, were delighted to hear favorites like "Play the Funky Music". They were receptive to our requests and honestly one of the most talented bands in Georgia and Florida. What more could you ask for???"

"absolutely thrilled! talented, professional, and fun! A band can make or break a party and TRB sure made ours! We still get compliments from guests. The band learned Darius Rucker's "It wont be like this.." for us and nailed it! We really could have used a bigger dance floor! I so highly recommend this band if you want to avoid the cheezy and bring on the genuine rockin' good time! We are forever in debt to the TRB for helping to make our reception better than we ever dreamed! We're biased but we get "best wedding I've ever been to" regularly. This is an awesome band! "Working with Chris and the Traveling Riverside Band was a great experience. I was nervous about booking a band for a client that I hadn't heard in person. But, I thought their recordings sounded great. After talking to Chris, I was reassured. I always call talent a couple of days ahead of the event to confirm--Chris called me first! The event went off without a hitch, the crowd loved the band. People were slow to get to the dance floor, but in the 3rd set they were rocking. When I requested they forgo a break and continue in order to keep them dancing, the band said no problem. Thanks, guys, for making me look like a rock star with the clients!"

"In short. Awesome. Following the wedding weekend my top 3 comments received have been: "beautiful ceremony', "bride was beautiful', and "who was that band?".
The month leading up to the event Chris was in weekly contact with us verifying times, venue, MC responsibilities, wedding party names, playlists, offering to learn songs... and so many other things that honestly I would have not considered to ask or request.
My wife and I are already scheming an excuse for another get together to have them back to play for us. Honestly, I'd travel to go see them play again.

"I cannot say enough positive things about the Traveling Riverside Band!!! Their genre, personalities, attire, etc. appealed to all of our guests from age 2 to 80. As a previous band geek, I appreciated their musicality – great vocals and instrumentals! Their song choices were perfect and made for a fun and lively event keeping guests entertained whether dancing or just listening.
We were on a time crunch and I booked these guys after only hearing a few demos. I must admit as scary as that decision was at first, it was the BEST choice we could have possibly made! We have already had guests ask for their contact info they loved them so much. You can't go wrong!"
