TIP:
The "upcoming appearances" section is how you find professional, in-demand entertainment. Look for the busiest acts and you're well on your way. I perform full-time for a living so reserve early!

FACT:
Three words...SOUND, TALENT and PERSONALITY. After 18 years in the business, I can confirm these are what matter most to your guests, and the best boasting cannot compensate for an act lacking just one of them.

----SOUND----

TIP:
Find performers who perform at a volume your guests can talk over and they'll thank you. The most common music complaint is people cannot hear others talking. I cannot stress enough what live sound -- done right -- means to the customer.

TIP:
If you're listening to a demo video and you can't hear the audience, that is NOT authentic live sound. It's sound from a recording studio or a gig mixing board which is then spruced up and pasted onto video.

My live videos are exactly what your guests/clients will hear. Open another browser window and compare demo videos: in mine you hear people having FUN, yet you can clearly hear the words, the instruments and a full sound top-to-bottom. And most importantly...you can hear the guests talking effortlessly over the music.

----TALENT----

FACT:
Your guests don't get pumped up listening to lukewarm versions of songs they know well.

I place quality before quantity. On songs with backing tracks, everything you hear I learn from scratch, practice, perform, record, mix and master before it goes into the show. This is extremely rare and the result is inspired, pumped up guests having fun.
On acoustic-only songs, singing style and guitar parts are true to the original song people remember. I've discovered this is also rare to find in a performer, and the compliments to you from your guests will reflect that.

FACT:
A performer with personality is hard to find. If you find one, they can take an event to the next level by breaking the ice, charming the audience, getting them to loosen up, and infecting the event with fun.
