DESCRIPTION:
"The Invaders" have been performing their tribute to the 60's British Invasion for over a decade and have opened for such acts as Badfinger, Rick Derringer, Steppenwolf and twice for Pete Best (the original drummer for The Beatles.) Played concerts with audiences of over 250,000. Some members have performed at Walt Disney World's EPCOT and travelled all over Europe.The group performs material from a wide variety of groups from the 60's British Invasion, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Animals, The Yardbirds, Gerry and the Pacemakers just to name a few. The group uses a multitude of original and authentic instruments from that era as well as the "costumes" all the way down to the cuban heeled Beatle boots! "It's is like travelling back in time and witnessing a band playing all of the favorite hits of the 60's!" From "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" to "Ferry Cross the Mersey", you will re-live the exciting swingin' sixties experience with this unique tribute show "The Invaders".
