To duplicate the famous "Eric Clapton" guitar tone, Rick exclusively uses Eric Clapton signature guitars like the ones played by Mr. Clapton in concert today, including a Martin 000-28 Acoustic for the unplugged segment, a custom-painted psychedelic SG for the Cream segment, 2 custom-painted Fender Stratocaster's, and of course Blackie.
