Being a solo performer and cover artist gives me the freedom to play a wide variety of music. The Show "Dance the night away" is energized by VOLKANO my sound and music compliment. Featuring dance songs from the 1950's thru the present. I inject guitar and keyboards along with percussion for a full rich sound giving you the effect of the original song. A unique blend of vocals and 3-4 part harmonies enhance the sound. The Show is interactive with the audience. Song requests are welcome.

My back ground in music spans 3 decades. I began as a recording tech
at Starbright Studios in upstate New York. During this time I traveled from coast to coast as a musician and a recording specialist.
I am an active member of ASCAP.

As a lead vocalist and guitarist/keyboardist I played large arenas and clubs with such bands and recording artists as JJ Cale, The Allmond Brothers Band, Black Smoke, Axton-Cross, Atlas Ram,
Shoot for the stars, Rockopolis and The Banana Band(reggae-ska).

I have just completed my Cd entitled "Dave Magmaa Erupts" which I wrote and produced. This project is all original material. The first song on the Cd "She's so hot" is on a compilation disc that was presented, by IRL Music, at the International Music Festival in Germany. "Erupts" will be released late spring 2012.

So I may introduce myself, to you, for your venue I have fine tuned my live show offering you a musical journey, a celebration to forget about life for a while.
