DESCRIPTION:
Tina Stefanos & Straight Ahead is a exciting newer group featuring the vocal stylings of Tina Stafanos(ex Chicago), with two horns (Trombone and Tenor Sax) as part of the ensemble.
In addition to playing sophisicated music for a number of weddings and parties, the group recently played two "Arts & Jazz" festivals and were received by the audience dancing in the street and generally having a great time.
Tina's choice of songs range from "Do nothin' Till You Hear From Me" to "New York State of Mind, and other great jazz standards.
We have a current repetoire exceeding 60 quality tunes and there are 3 MP3 recordings for your listening pleasure.
The group can also be booked as a quartet, with prerecorded bass and drums which may better suit your budget.
The "duet" consisting of just Tina and "Taz" on keyboards, using bass and drum "Tracks" is currently playing brunch at "Graze", an upscale restaurant and bar from Noon until 3:00 in Sundays

The quality of the performance at our event was stellar. The music was diverse enough to be engaging and sassy enough to give the event a fantastic energy without being too overwhelming.
