Description

The Red Rock Swing Band is a 17 piece big band specializing in classic big band sounds from the forties swing era to the modern swing revival. We do plenty of latin charts, show tunes, and when the occasion calls for it we can do waltzes, polkas or even a bunny hop. Located in Woodbury, Minnesota, we perform over the entire Twin Cities metropolitan area. We feature a beautiful female vocalist and 16 musicians that will light up your event. Dances, weddings and private parties are our specialties. We have over 300 songs in our book and if you need something special we have an arranger within the band to arrange the perfect song.

Feedback

  • They were energetic! Fun to watch the individual solos perform! casual but professional. some of the people attending the Harvest Moon Ball were surprised to learn a member of the band was a long time firend - just never knew they played for Red Rock Swing. We loved the Ozzy Osborne tribute. even with the crowd having decreased to the lonely 3 couples left - they played until 1 am! Fullfilling their contract and our need to dance. -- Jennifer K, Granite Falls, MN, 11/17/2007
  • Red Rock Swing Band was great! There talent level is incredible. They were very easy to work with and a majority of our communication was via email. I would recommend Red Rock Swing band to anyone!!! They were awesome. -- Sarah B, Shakopee, MN, 10/13/2007
  • Their performance was nothing short of terrific! We had 85 people for a ballroom dinner for our college class' 50th Reunion, and the Band played both listening music (for some of us are old and crippled) and dancing music of the Big Band era. The band was on time; fully set up; very professional; and their music was really exceptional. I would recommend them to any group without hesitation. -- Ray B, Green Lake, WI, 6/23/2007
  • The Red Rock Swing Band put on a great performance! I would hire them again! -- Daniel Z, Minneapolis, MN, 1/12/2007
  • What an amazing group! Our wedding was a smash with Red Rock Swing Band at the helm, everything they did was a hit with my guests. My guests are still talking about it. They were even able to help with picking out ceremony music this all done through email! Moving from California to New York while buying and selling a house, all while planning our wedding was stressful but Tim and Tony did an EXCELLENT job of making sure they were in contact with me the whole time during our planning process. I had the ceremony and reception that I always wanted, thanks to this group of people! The only thing I'd change is rent a bigger reception area because your guests will definately want room to swing when they listen to Red Rock Swing Band! Amy Shumaker-Pomales St. Paul College Club wedding 10/20/2006 -- Amy S, Saint Paul, MN, 10/20/2006
  • The Red Rock Swing Band was more fantastic than we had ever expected!!! Our friends all enjoyed them so much! People were asking us how in the world we found such a great band! They were so professional! (TOTALLY NOT your "typical wedding band"!) We are checking out their schedule online so we can go listen & dance to their music more!!! Thank you, Red Rock, for an awesome time!!! :-) -- Kimberly S, Wayzata, MN, 9/8/2006
  • Excellent! Highly recommend! Fun, engaging and talented band. Great to dance to. Our wedding guests are still raving about the Red Rock Swing band. Also, band leader, Tim, great to work with and very helpful with music choices. -- Emily L, Chaska, MN, 6/17/2006
  • Red Rock Swing was terrfic. They were a hit with everyone who attended the wedding. They even prepared a special arrangement of the song our daughter wanted for her "first" dance. Karen Seavey -- Karen S, Rochester, MN, 1/28/2006
  • Red Rock Swing Band was excellent, and an amazing value. Everyone had an incredible time, I think that the band will be one of the strongest memories years down the road. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our special day. -- Joshua D, Minneapolis, MN, 10/15/2005
