What good is a variety band without variety? There's nothing like a live band to make an event memorable. And there's nothing quite like a band that plays Motown hits to get your guests out on the dance floor. The problem is, most bands that play in the Motown style can't do an accurate reading of a Sinatra number. Fewer still can play rock, big band, Pop ballads or western swing. Then there's disco, or a modern mambo, or a sweet soul ballad. There's only one band in Austin this talented and diverse, and that's the Original Recipe Band. The band has 4 lead singers and a 4-piece horn section, and is completely self-contained. We can do an entire evening's worth of Sinatra, three hours of Motown, a wedding reception's worth of classic rock, or even an evening of big band music by switching to our 7-horn configuration.
