Mojazz

MoJazz is a traditional/contemporary jazz band that matches up veteran musicians with an extensive background in jazz performance. MoJazz offers a very classy, distinctive style of jazz entertainment. This band will provide the right touch for, background music, wedding reception, corporate events, music festivals, dancing and any other social/formal event you may have. The group performs a variety of jazz compositions from the 1940's and up to the smooth jazz sounds of today. The members of this band are Christian musicians and play for their respective Church on Sunday. MoJazz also perform inspirationnal gospel music, and have perfomed at many Church and gospel events in the local area. Writing and arranging original compositions round out the abilities of MoJazz and add an edge and variety to the group's play list. MoJazz, upon request can perform as a trio, or up to a 15 piece jazz orchestra with the big band swing sound. MoJazz, although an instrumental band, upon request, can provide a very nice vocalist. A vocalist that has a commanding stage presence, with vocal style, projection and range, which helped propelled this band to great success along the Gulf Coast. Will provide references (upon request), of other past events we have performed along the Gulf Coast. MoJazz is led by a retired Navy veteran (Ted Keeby, Jr., with over twenty three years of service), with over thirty five years of musical experience and have performed with many national, regional and local artists.
