The group has performed for venues such as the House of Blues & corporations such as General Mills, Inc., but has also covered complete weddings including the CEREMONY, COCKTAIL HOUR, DINNER, & DANCING PORTION. This is a testament to their versatility, as they can perform anything from Bach to Bob Marley to Hendrix & everything in between! This is also one of the only band's in the world led by a violinist.... The leader Matt Stedman is a violinist, harmonica player, & vocalist. The size of the group can be as small as Matt as a soloist, a duo, trio, quartet, & as large as full five piece band.

• We cant say enough about Matt & the Matt Stedman band. From the 1st time we heard them play in Chicago, we knew we had found a jewel-and were not disappointed. We were looking for a REAL band, not wedding singers. They have an amazing amount of talent, & we were fortunate enough to have them play at our wedding. • Each time we saw the band before out event, they were impressive. Matt and the band took time to speak with us about how our wedding planning was going and if we needed anything from them. Matt was always available to answer questions and was VERY organized with his questions for us. He had pre-made lists for songs and went over every detail. The wedding was amazing! • Matt Stedman from the start was a professional and personable individual to work with. We actually booked him from Gigmasters without ever seeing a performance. We did eventually see him before our wedding, but it was the performance at the ceremony and wedding that blew us and our guests away!
