Lapis Luna brings you the captivating music of 1930s, 40s & 50s jazz with a classic yet one-of-a-kind sound. Their specialty is playing timeless melodies the way they were meant to be heard: vibrant, fun, romantic & cool.

Lapis Luna is one of New York's premier jazz and swing bands, providing live music for all occasions, public and private, intimate and grand. Their style makes them an ideal match for an elaborate celebration or a simple garden party, and their music appeals to all ages.

The band includes some of the brightest jazz musicians in NYC who set themselves apart with an authentic presentation of vintage jazz standards, enchanting ballads, and obscure swing era gems. Their style embraces all forms of American music from the first half of the 20th century including hot jazz, early blues, big band, bebop & swing. Added into the sets are retro cha-cha, rumba & bossa nova. This music sets a dazzling mood and is just right for any event in need of exceptional music.
