The JOHN WILLIAMS ORCHESTRA (10-14 pieces) is Denver's premier classic BIG BAND featuring classic big band swing, jazz, latin, rock, waltz, holiday/traditional, and great vocals. The JOHN WILLIAMS COMBO (4-6 pieces) is also one of the finest dance combos in Denver. No matter which group you select, combo or big band, the bands play the original arrangements of the great band leaders like Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, and Duke Ellington. With a song list of over 2000 tunes, you can customize your event's music. Both groups are perfect for your wedding reception, holiday/New Year's Eve celebrations, social/corporate functions, and dinner dances. John has been playing in the Denver area since 1971 and his combo and orchestra are very much in demand. He has played at numerous venues in the Denver Metro area including the Shrine Ballroom, country club, Elks Clubs, Lowry Officers Club, hotels and wedding reception facilities. The band plays a variety of musical styles including big band swing, Dixieland, Latins, country, waltzes, light rock & roll, and even polkas. Prices are flexible depending on your needs, size of group, hours, and location.

The JOHN WILLIAMS ORCHESTRA ranges in size from 10 to 14 pieces and plays big band swing for dancing with latins, waltzes, polkas, country and rock thrown in. The John Williams Orchestra played for the Glenn Miller 'Dancin' On The Plains' Festival in Fort Morgan, CO in June 2005 & 2006. The band was the headliner in 2006, having played in 2005 and was so popular that they were invited for a return engagement.

The JOHN WILLIAMS COMBO ranges from 4 to 6 pieces and plays all styles for wedding receptions, dinner dances, dance clubs, private parties, etc. John, extraordinare keyboardist, can also provide a duo or trio for cocktail parties or events requiring only background music. All size groups play requests. All you have to do is ask.

John Williams is also extremely adept at doing wedding receptions. He works with the bride and groom to get the special music for their first dance. He acts as Master of Ceremonies for the reception and makes sure that the reception is an absolute success. The prices for the Orchestra & Combo are the MOST reasonable in the Denver area for what the band provides.

The John Williams Orchestra & Combo has performed in Salida, Aspen, Eagle, Dillon, Vail, etc., in Colorado; also to Scottsbluff, NE; Cheyenne, WY; Seattle, WA; and New Orleans, LA; to name just a few. John and his band are members of the American Federation of Musicians and the Denver Musicians Association.
