Jim Laurie

Jim is a professional party pianist/vocalist with 30 years experience performing all types of music in every type of venue. As an entertainer, Jim strives to engage his audience to make sure everyone is having a good time. Along with many singalong songs & dance tunes, his vast repertoire also includes Sinatra standards and showtunes, plus recent pop and golden oldies. In his special one hour show he may take his audience musically around the world or around the USA. Jim returned to the Delaware Valley from New Orleans in 1995 to care for invalid parents. *Fully insured through National Association of Mobile Entertainers.

• Jim was wonderful! He made our parents 50th anniversary party an EXTRA SPECIAL celebration. Received MANY compliments on Jim. He had a lot of request from his extensive song list, which he provided. Requests were made from those as young as a 3 year old (ABC's...songs from Annie, Barnie, etc.) to the 78 year old guests of honor. We would definitely recommend Jim to anyone looking for a talented, fun, professional piano player. We even had our youngest nephew, 20 months old accompany Jim with 'Great Balls of Fire'. • Jim was very good. It was my husband's 60th birthday and we had about 11 children there. He played songs for them and they sang. I had made some requests beforehand and he played them all. My brother in law thought he sounded like Harry Connick Jr. My sister-in-law and cousin, who go to high end parties regularly, thought he was excellent. Jim is very personable and accomodating. • Jim was such a welcome addition to our wedding. He was accommodating, prompt, friendly, talented, and flexible -- a true professional. As a busy bride, I really appreciated how quickly he responded to my emails and addressed my requests. I had a million things on my mind, but I knew I never had to worry about the entertainment. By the end of the night, Jim had several of our guests singing around the piano, many of whom are professional musicians themselves. They let me know that they thought Jim had "real chops."
