With a song list of unforgettable jazz classics from Sinatra to Norah Jones, our Trio can create the perfect atmosphere for your event - from elegant background ambiance to upbeat music for dancing. Exceptional music your guests will enjoy – young and old alike. We have over thirty years of combined experience as professional musicians and have played for countless private parties, weddings, and corporate events throughout the Midwest and beyond.In addition to the Trio, we also offer a range of options to fit any situation or budget - from a simple duo of Heather on piano/vocals and a bassist, to a deluxe five piece band with sax and guitar. We can help you choose the perfect option for your event. No piano at your venue? No problem, Heather uses her own high quality keyboard at most of the events we play (the same one used in our audio samples). We provide all sound equipment necessary to perform for your event and our space requirements are very flexible, accommodating any situation. Booking is simple - To secure a booking for any event, we'll send you a simple one page contract by mail or fax which is signed and returned along with a small deposit (usually $100-$150) with the balance due on the day. Corporate clients will receive an invoice by email or fax and the deposit can be waived so you'll only need to process one check. We are always available to go over any questions or changes that might come up along the way. The Heather Nelson Trio was a big hit at my wedding reception! People of all ages loved the music and lots of people danced! They sounded very classy and the volume was just right. They even, by my request, learned how to play our song so we could dance to it on our first dance. They played for the whole reception outdoors in 100 degree weather! They were awesome!!!!! Couldn't have asked for more!

I can't say enough good things about The Heather Nelson Trio! They played for my dad's 80th birthday and I continue receiving comments on how wonderful they were! He keeps saying over and over what a great trio, and he's been playing jazz for about 70 years. They've got an extensive playlist, they are very professional and kind, and they would help make any gathering a tremendous success! If you love good jazz music, you'll love this trio.
